Planning & Booking

We recommend at least 3 to 6 months ahead for peak safari and holiday seasons. However, with our local network we can often accommodate last-minute bookings as well.

Not at all. We specialize in TATU Curated journeys, but we also design fully customized itineraries based on your travel dates, bucket-list wishes, and pace.

Every itinerary includes carefully selected accommodation, specific meals, guided experiences, transfers, and concierge-level care once you arrive. International flights are not included, but we’ll advise on the best options.

At the moment, we only cater to travelers visiting Kenya, and combining it with Zanzibar.

Payments & Refunds

Yes. You can secure your trip with a deposit, then spread the balance over flexible installments leading up to your departure.

Travel Essentials

Yes. Most travelers can apply for an E-VISA online, which is straightforward and processed in a few days. We’ll guide you through the process.

Yellow fever vaccination is recommended, and malaria prevention is advised. We always suggest consulting your doctor well in advance.

Yes, we require all travelers to have valid travel insurance covering health, cancellations, and emergencies.

We’ll send you a personalized packing list with essentials for safari, coast, and city life. Think light layers, neutral tones for safari, and breezy clothes for the coast.

Safety & Comfort

Yes. We design itineraries with trusted guides, vetted accommodations, and seamless transfers. You’ll always feel taken care of.

TATU Africa’s itineraries are all designed for 25+ adults. Teen travellers aged 13 –17 may join, if accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Boutique safari camps, stylish city hotels and barefoot-luxury beach villas. Every stay is hand-tested by our team for comfort, aesthetics, and service.

On-the-Ground Experience

Yes. On safari, you’ll have expert local guides. In Nairobi and coastal Kenya, we’ll provide hosts or drivers when needed.

Of course. Whether vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, or halal, we will ensure your meals are thoughtfully prepared.

Most city hotels and beach villas have strong Wi-Fi. Safari camps may have limited connectivity, but that’s often part of the magic.
